Hi there,
We want to give you guys another update (hopefully our last) on our production. We know Paper Guardian should have shipped out in Sept and we are already in October. However, there is very justifiable reason for this delay. Before production our factory asked us if we wanted to make one final adjustment to the product and we said OK - thinking it would be a quick change.
The Final Change
Paper Guardian has a matte finish on the outside. On the writing side, we wanted this to be glossy so it would be smooth for writing. However, before production, our factory asked us if we wanted to change this to matte (we kind of overlooked this option). Knowing that this would make the design more cohesive (all matte) as well as less of a finger print magnet on the writing side, we said yes. However, we totally didn't think it would take 3 additional weeks to make this change - so it's our fault.
Here's a video showing the product and where this final change will be made.
As China is also having 1 week off this week for another one of their holidays, our new shipping date will be moved to October 24th.

C-Bracket Testing

Hi there,
We wanted to share this video of our new C-Bracket going through salt water test at the testing facility. It's a bit hard to see what's going on but the pieces are resting in white the bar towards the front. Since this was the last item we were having issues with we should be able to move forth with production without a problem now.
We also wanted to share some updated pictures of Paper Guardian with correct surface treatment and with the new C-brackets in place. As with the previous pictures sent to us by the factory we want to applogize for the bad quality images as well as finger prints!
